Matthew, thanks for checking out The G Spod! Sorry about the file size; this episode was twice the normal size because of some audio issue with the songs that we played from our guest--I don't understand the audio stuff, I just upload the files after G sends them to me.

Next week's episode will be our 50th and one-year anniversary, and we'll be playing clips from older episodes that should give you a good idea of what the show's been about. As always, not work safe, so jam those earbuds in. We'd love to have you on sometime as a featured artist; I've been listening to your music on the DSC for about as long as I've been co-producing our show.

Oh, and to answer your easy question: I didn't dress up this year, but the last time I did I went to the club as Hunter S. Thompson. One person recognized me as either "that guy from Fear & Loathing" or "that guy from Weekend at Bernie's", but I wasn't hanging out with a particularly literary crowd. The next time I dress up for Halloween I'll probably continue the theme by going either as Tom Wolfe or Joan Vollmer Burroughs (highball glass on head, bullet hole through forehead).

I guess this makes me a bit of a bore, but because of my situation growing up I never got into the spirit of Halloween (or many other holidays, for that matter), so no dressing up for me. My girls get into it, though. They are going around as a ladybug and a butterfly this year.
