Please join me on Wednesday, April 25 as we try and break into territory normally controlled by the major labels’ massive promotional budgets. It’s a simple plan: If everyone buys the same single track, I Wish I Were, on the same day, we might push that song into the Daily Top Ten charts. Those charts have a tendency to promote themselves, so this could become a self sustaining achievement. All it will take is 99¢ and your help recruiting your friends!

KoPoint

If you’re the podcast-listening type, I strongly recommend checking out KoPoint- especially while it’s still young. It’s like the first few seasons of Star Trek TNG- they’re obviously still trying to define the vibe of the show, but you can tell it’s going to be something worth tuning into. With Dan’s experience from the U.N. and ABC Radio, this is definitely more than just another indie podcast.

All the cool social media kids have begun talking about something called Pinterest- a sort of virtual bulletin board.  Yeah, the concept is simplistic and stupid, just like Twitter.  That being said, it looks almost Evernote-esque in its ability to organize seemingly disconnected stuff-on-the-web.  I’ll be using this service as best I can, mostly waiting for an official Android app to make use of this as a musician and a writer.
