Last night’s [tag]Podsafe Music Live[/tag] concert was one of those shows that reminds me why I’m a musician in the first place. I didn’t get any photos ’cause I was manning the internet feed and, you know, performing at one point or another. I did, however, have one hell of a good time.

Probably the best part, as a performer, was seeing a crowd full of people singing my lyrics back to me. The best part as a fan of [tag]music[/tag] was seeing the crowd of people from [tag]Iowa[/tag], [tag]Canada[/tag], [tag]Boston[/tag], and far off places like [tag]La Vergne[/tag] rockin’ out in person.

The best part, as a total nerd, was when people started bouncing [tag]flaming cows[/tag] around the [tag]U-Turn Café[/tag] when I sang [tag]Trees[/tag].

  • Sorry we missed it! We seriously contemplated driving down, but then realized we'd also have to drive back.
We'll come visit the "Nashville Cats" soon!
  • That was the most enjoyable 3 hours or so I've spent on-line!! The "live" audio stream sounded like I was there! (Sony tower speakers on my stereo). I particularly enjoyed you're sense of humor throughout the concert. I was also able to turn Brian on, the host of the Audio Attitude podcast, to the live feed when he showed up on IM. Everyone performing sounded great. If something like that ever happens in sunny south Florida, there's no doubt, I'll be there!

Thanks to all for an enjoyable concert! And a special thanks to Matthew Ebel for being on episode #69, #70, and #71 of the Ed's Mixed Bag podcast!!
  • Dude, you are so right. I felt from listening to the show, that I was there, even though I'm here in Ohio. I was able to chat with other fans online as we listened.

Also, I just found out from listening to Ed's Mixed Bag #71 that you're going to be in Dayton, Ohio in May. I look forward to further details as they present themselves, and I'd really like to see you play in person.
