[tag]Digital Narcolepsy[/tag] — When someone disappears in the middle of an [tag]IM[/tag] conversation. No logging off, no idle messages, no “afk”, just…

  • Alas, I've gone to the shows, I've listened on the feeds when I couldn't be there, I tipped in the jar or just paid directly, I've had conversations with the bird, I even befriended the bird, but alas still not a Twitter friend... I'm not pushy, I'll be patient.

    See you at Nowhereville tonight!

  • Yah... what Jen said ;-) Add to it, (happily) spending all of SL clothing budget filling tip jars instead (heck, with a body like Kaye's who needs clothes anyway?!)

  • Ah! But I did! :)
  • Rich-

I don't know, might just call that talking to yourself. =) It's difficult to even consider it a "conversation" unless you've introduced yourself and made the connection (in this case, Twitter friends). :)

Clearly you need some new digital contacts. Make me your twitter friend and I'll never go narcoleptic on you. (You know you wanna.... http://twitter.com/bucketjen )
  • What if someone is carrying on a digital conversation -- such as in Twitter -- with you, but you're not a friend of theirs so you can't hear it? Hmmm... what should we call that? Digital Tardiness?
