Virtual Hot Wings
Probably the biggest bit of news that’s happened lately is the release of [tag]Virtual Hot Wings[/tag], a live album created entirely from [tag]bootlegs[/tag] of [tag]Second Life[/tag] shows I’ve played.
Since I’m something of a bird lover, some folks call me “[tag]Hot Wings[/tag]“. Well, a few fans of mine ([tag]Chris Penn[/tag] and [tag]Chel Pixie[/tag] for the most part) spent a lot of time and effort creating an entire digital release with over five hours of music. They called it “Virtual Hot Wings”, and it may be the first time a fan-made bootleg has ever been released as an actual album.
Also, if you’re a [tag]podcaster[/tag], you can play a couple of tracks from this release over at www.matthewebel.com/pmn
Of course, there are a few folks already talking about this new album-

- [tag]Jeff Barr[/tag] - “Real to Virtual and Back”
- [tag]A.Connector[/tag] - “Getting back to smiles”
- [tag]Second Life Notes[/tag] - “Virtual Hot Heron Wings”
- [tag]Mitch Joel[/tag]’s [tag]Six Pixels of Separation[/tag] - “Television Disrupted”
- [tag]crayon[/tag]’s Press Release
For more information about this incredible effort (and to buy a copy!), please check out the site they set up at www.virtualhotwings.com
Update: Apparently, there are some audio comments on the record as well.
