Life’s Been Good

Now I can live my life
to the fullest that I can
but my purpose constantly I’m
searching for, thinking about.
My life has something that
my eyes cannot see,
something that I know
I can not live without.

So I thank Lord Jesus
for being there for me,
and I thank God for making me
be the best that I can be,
and I’m thankful that the Spirit’s there
wherever believers be.
I’m thankful I’m a lucky man,
life’s been good to me.

I see these gifts around me
just waiting to be used,
and one or two or a few
have gone to everyone,
so now and then
in the lifetime that you have,
you should stop and thank
the person who they’re from.

I have a solid foundation
that I stand on in this world,
and I thank You that You’re there
and for everything You do.
For that foundation,
for my life and all I live for,
and for everything,
I’d like to thank You.
