Unpacking on Block Island

So I’m sitting here at [tag]Aldos[/tag] on [tag]Block Island[/tag] eating ice cream when a guy comes up to me and asks “are you blogging right now?”

Apparently, he created the [tag]Block Island Jobs[/tag] website and has been following all the stories tagged with “Block Island”. (This probably means he’s reading this too, so hi there!) He said that my name kept coming up and he’d noticed me here at Aldo’s from time to time doing the live video thing.

And people say all this digital stuff never creates any real-world connections. Tagging just brought a total stranger over to my table tonight to say hi, and it’ll probably bring him to my concert on Monday.
