It's Radio Time

Old RadioI’m happy to announce that my music is hitting college and good old-fashioned mainstream RADIO stations in the US. The folks over at Tinderbox are working hard to put Goodbye Planet Earth in the rotation at a bunch of college stations.

I could seriously use your help, however, making sure those stations keep playing my stuff. Over at the fan site they’re keeping a list of the latest stations that have added me to their playlists. If you can call in and request one of my tunes from time to time, it’ll make a big impression!

I’ll also post the updates right here and in the sidebar whenever there are new stations added to the list:

WISU 89.7 FM
812-237-3690
Terre Haute, IN

WECS 90.1 FM

Help Me Book The Tour, Earn Some Cash

While I’m writing the new album, I’m too busy to make all the phone calls it takes to get a tour booked. Instead, I’ve decided to let the fans over at MatthewEbel.net get involved, and earn some money in the process!

We’ve got a list of colleges all along the eastern US, all you have to do is call up the Student Activities department and get them to add me to their spring lineup. If you get a show booked, you’ll earn $50 or more per show (the same commission I’d pay to any booking agent)!

In addition to your commission, I’ll be sending a free advance copy of Goodbye Planet Earth to any agent who can book me at least one college show.

For more information about the program, go check out the new fan site at MatthewEbel.net:

Where the heck are you?

Hey, I just remembered a cool way to figure out where I should be [tag]touring[/tag]. If you haven’t heard of the people at [tag]Eventful.com[/tag], they’ve got a system that lets you (the listeners and fans) tell me where you want me to come play. All you have to do is click the button and tell me where you want me. Try it out!

Yeah, you’re going to have to register to do this, but they haven’t spammed me yet and I’ve been using it to try and get Hank to come back to Nashville for a while now.

Operation Roll Call

A few months back I asked you to help get the attention of a [tag]sponsor[/tag] for my [tag]podcast[/tag], [tag]High Orbit[/tag]. Now I’ve got a few companies interested, but they’re all asking me the same question… How many listeners do you have? You know I want to bring you [tag]live music[/tag] every week, but I can’t do that unless one of these companies helps me out. All I need from you is a little help drawing a crowd!

I need your help to make this happen!

The Mission:

High OrbitHere’s the mission— and it’s a very simple one: Get a friend or two to subscribe to High Orbit

All they need is [tag]iTunes[/tag] or [tag]Juice[/tag] or any other [tag]podcatcher[/tag] program. If they’ve got a [tag]Palm[/tag] or [tag]Windows Mobile[/tag] gadget, there are ways to subscribe there as well. Just point ‘em at this page:

I need your help! I’m trying to get Jim Cooper over at [tag]Mark Of The Unicorn[/tag] to throw a little support behind my [tag]podcast[/tag], [tag]High Orbit[/tag]. If you want to help make this happen, do this:
